Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern all bookings, reservations, and services provided by Time to Jump Dolomites ("the Organizer"). By completing a reservation through our website, you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms in full.

1. Eligibility & Requirements

Participation is restricted to experienced, licensed skydivers only. No tandem jumps are offered. Each participant must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Valid Skydiving License: USPA B-License (or higher) or equivalent national/international license (e.g., FAI, DFV, AeCI). You must provide your license country and number during booking.
  • Minimum 100 logged jumps.
  • Third-Party Liability Insurance: A valid skydiving liability insurance must be in effect. Non-European participants: You can arrange this directly through us a few weeks in advance: the cost is approximately โ‚ฌ70 for 60 days or โ‚ฌ110 for 12 months, valid throughout Italy. Proof must be presented on-site.
  • Equipment: Bring your own rig or rent from us (see pricing). All equipment is subject to a mandatory safety inspection before each jump.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Reservation & Deposit

When you reserve a seat on a helicopter load via our website, a non-refundable deposit is collected via our secure payment provider (Nexi XPay). No card details are stored. The deposit secures your spot and is retained as a cancellation fee if you cancel or do not show up (see Section 3). The remaining balance is paid on-site on the day of the jump.

2.2 Payment

The full jump fee is paid on-site on the day of the jump, either by card or cash. The price per person is calculated by dividing the total helicopter cost equally among all booked participants on that load. The more skydivers join a flight, the lower the individual cost.

  • Solo booking: The full helicopter cost is borne by a single participant.
  • Group booking: The total helicopter cost is split equally among all participants on the load.
  • Balance: The remaining amount after the deposit is paid on-site on the day of the jump (card or cash).

1 Load = max. 5 skydivers per helicopter. The jump altitude may be adjusted based on weather conditions and local air traffic regulations. Helicopter costs are subject to change due to fuel surcharges and operational costs.

2.3 Sequential Booking

Helicopter loads are filled sequentially. Load 2 (and subsequent loads) will only become available for booking once Load 1 is at first booked from this person. One person may reserve seats for multiple participants (group booking).

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellation by the Customer

  • More than 7 days before the jump date: The deposit paid at booking (30% of your per-person helicopter share) is non-refundable and is retained as the cancellation fee. No further amount is charged.
  • 7 days or less before the jump date, or if you do not show up: The deposit is non-refundable and retained in full as the cancellation fee. No further amount is charged, as no card is stored.

3.1a Short-Notice Bookings

Reservations made less than 7 days before the jump date require immediate full payment of the per-person helicopter share. No cancellation or refund is possible for short-notice bookings. A clear warning is displayed during the booking process.

3.2 Cancellation by the Organizer

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a jump up to 5 days before the scheduled date. The Organizer will propose alternative dates where possible.

3.3 Weather Cancellation

If a jump is cancelled due to weather conditions (typically communicated the day before), the booking is rescheduled to the next available date at no extra cost. If the Customer cannot attend the rescheduled date, the standard cancellation policy (Section 3.1) applies.

4. Mandatory Safety Briefing

All participants are required to attend the mandatory safety briefing on Friday evening (the day before the jump), conducted by the helicopter operator. This briefing is a regulatory requirement and covers essential safety procedures.

  • Missed Briefing Penalty: If a participant fails to attend the Friday briefing without prior arrangement, a penalty of 50 โ‚ฌ applies and is payable on-site. The briefing must then be completed on Saturday morning before the jump, requiring additional pilot time.
  • Schedule: Friday evening briefing โ†’ Saturday morning helicopter departure (approx. 08:30). Participants should plan to arrive at the airfield by 08:30 at the latest on Saturday.

4a. Alcohol & Drug Policy โ€” Zero Tolerance

The consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substances before or during jumping activities is strictly prohibited. This is a worldwide safety standard enforced at all professional skydiving operations.

  • Violation: Any participant found under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be immediately excluded from all jumping activities for the remainder of the day. No refund will be issued.
  • Responsibility: Each participant is personally responsible for ensuring they are in a fit physical and mental state to jump safely.

5. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Skydiving is an inherently dangerous activity. By booking a jump with Time to Jump Dolomites, the Customer acknowledges the risks involved and assumes full responsibility for their own safety. The Organizer is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Organizer.

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they have adequate personal accident and third-party liability insurance. The Organizer's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking.

6. Data Collection & Privacy

During the booking process, we collect the following personal data: full name, nickname, email, phone number, date of birth, address, emergency contact, license information, insurance status, and payment details (processed securely by Nexi XPay). Nicknames of booked participants are displayed publicly on the website to facilitate group coordination. For full details on data processing, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Italy. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bolzano / Bozen, Italy.
