Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern all bookings, reservations, and services provided by DolomitesFly / Time to Jump Dolomites ("the Organizer"), operated by David Prato. By completing a reservation through our website, you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms in full.

1. Eligibility & Requirements

Participation is restricted to experienced, licensed skydivers only. No tandem jumps are offered. Each participant must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Valid Skydiving License: USPA B-License (or higher) or equivalent national/international license (e.g., FAI, DFV, AeCI). You must provide your license country and number during booking.
  • Minimum 100 logged jumps.
  • Third-Party Liability Insurance: A valid skydiving/base jumping liability insurance must be in effect. Non-European participants: we recommend pianetavolo.it (approx. 60 € for 2 months). Proof must be presented on-site.
  • Equipment: Bring your own rig or rent from us (see pricing). All equipment is subject to a mandatory safety inspection before each jump.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Reservation & Card Authorization

When you reserve a seat on a helicopter load via our website, your credit card is authorized for a 0.00 € hold (Stripe SetupIntent). No amount is charged at the time of booking. This authorization secures your spot and allows the Organizer to process penalty charges if applicable (see Section 3 & 4).

2.2 Payment

The full jump fee is paid on-site on the day of the jump, either by card or cash. The price per person depends on the number of skydivers sharing the helicopter load:

Route 1 Pers. 2 Pers. 3 Pers. 4 Pers. 5 Pers.
Saslong UNESCO (1,600 m) 775 € 388 € 258 € 194 € 155 €
Mulin da Coi (2,500 m) 825 € 413 € 275 € 206 € 165 €

1 Load = max. 5 skydivers per helicopter. The jump altitude may be adjusted based on weather conditions and local air traffic regulations.

2.3 Sequential Booking

Helicopter loads are filled sequentially. Load 2 (and subsequent loads) will only become available for booking once Load 1 is fully booked. One person may reserve seats for multiple participants (group booking).

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellation by the Customer

  • More than 7 days before the jump date: 30% of the helicopter load cost (per person share) will be retained. The remaining amount is refunded to the stored credit card.
  • 7 days or less before the jump date: No refund. 100% of the per-person share will be charged to the stored credit card.

3.2 Cancellation by the Organizer

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a jump up to 5 days before the scheduled date if the helicopter load cannot be filled. In this case, any charged or held amounts are refunded in full (100%). The Organizer will propose alternative dates where possible.

3.3 Weather Cancellation

If a jump is cancelled due to weather conditions (typically communicated the day before), the booking is rescheduled to the next available date at no extra cost. If the Customer cannot attend the rescheduled date, the standard cancellation policy (Section 3.1) applies.

4. Mandatory Safety Briefing

All participants are required to attend the mandatory safety briefing on Friday evening (the day before the jump), conducted by helicopter operator Elikos. This briefing is a regulatory requirement and covers essential safety procedures.

  • Missed Briefing Penalty: If a participant fails to attend the Friday briefing without prior arrangement, a penalty of 50 € will be charged to the stored credit card. The briefing must then be completed on Saturday morning before the jump, requiring additional pilot time.
  • Schedule: Friday evening briefing → Saturday morning helicopter departure (approx. 08:30). Participants should plan to arrive at the airfield by 08:30 at the latest on Saturday.

5. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Skydiving is an inherently dangerous activity. By booking a jump with Time to Jump Dolomites, the Customer acknowledges the risks involved and assumes full responsibility for their own safety. The Organizer is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Organizer.

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they have adequate personal accident and third-party liability insurance. The Organizer's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking.

6. Data Collection & Privacy

During the booking process, we collect the following personal data: full name, nickname, email, phone number, date of birth, address, emergency contact, license information, insurance status, and credit card details (processed securely by Stripe). Nicknames of booked participants are displayed publicly on the website to facilitate group coordination. For full details on data processing, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Italy. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bolzano / Bozen, Italy.
